Welcome to String Bean Software’s online technical support. Our policies with regards to technical support, and minor and major upgrades/updates are described below for your convenience:

Technical Support

 

Customers running WinTarget 1.x are entitled to free web or telephone-based technical support (normal business hours, no guaranteed response times) for as long as that release is supported.

 

Customers upgrading to Version 2.0 or purchasing Version 2.0 initially, receive 30 calendar days of free web or telephone-based technical support (normal business hours, no guaranteed response times). Technical support after the initial free period is provided on a for-fee basis from either String Bean Software or a String Bean Software partner.

 

Dot-Level and Version Upgrades

 

Customers or WinTarget 1.x are entitled to all minor and major updates to their licenses including dot-level releases (e.g., 1.2) at no cost for the life of that release/version.

 

Customers upgrading to Version 2.0, or purchasing Version 2.0 initially, are entitled to free minor updates (e.g., bug fixes) for the life of that release/version. Dot-level releases (e.g., 2.1) are not provided for free. Customers must either purchase a version upgrade or have their licenses covered under Annual Software Maintenance to receive dot-level and major releases (e.g., 3.0).

 

Bug Fixes and Updates

 

Customers are entitled to free download of minor releases (bug fixes/patches) for any version for which they hold a valid license.

 

String Bean Software provides technical support via the email or telephone during standard business hours, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm EST. While we will make every attempt to respond to your requests on a timely basis, String Bean Software provides no guaranteed response times for support requests.
